“Feelings change, just like people do.”
The above words indicates nothing new a thing we’re not
aware of. But when we talk about feelings, it’s not only the other people’s feelings
that change. Rather than pointing a finger at others, we must first study whether
our own feelings are on a changing spree.
Why does a pain given by a loved one in the past which
seemed to create an everlasting deep wound merely pricks a little somewhere in
the corner of the heart today? Why does the unbound care you had for that
special someone once upon a time, change into a sheer responsibility? Why does
the pure love, which once said forever, have turned into a bitter hatred today?
These feelings which once promised to last forever, have
taken a sudden turn today and are bent on showing some all new unexpected colors.
So why do we claim to take control of them and try to hold on to them so hard.
Doing so is only going to bring about more resentment than ever before.
A better idea is to leave the feelings on their own and
enjoy the present. Let the past flow away and welcome the present with open
wide arms. The future will someday be a better place to live in, till then
laugh at the confusion and let the feelings dance around.
